Shelter and Winterization in Emergencies
Overview
The Humanitarian Impact Institute conducts real-time reviews, baselines and evaluations of Shelter and Winterization in Emergencies activities in humanitarian settings.
Our Shelter and Winterization work covers protection, health, security, community shelters and emergency shelters as well as rehabilitation and provisions.
We assess against Sphere standards but align to the guidelines agreed by the national cluster for each context.
Our work is also aligned to the Core Humanitarian Standard to ensure that shelter and iwinterization services are inclusive, gender, age and disability adapted, community driven and accountable.
