Human Rights
Overview
Human Rights programs are designed to promote, protect and expand human rights for all members of society. These programs can cover policy development, adocacy, legislative design and implementation, as well as education, awareness raising and state capacity building.
Human Rights programs are usually issue specific (for example, LGBTQIA+ or child rights) but can also be more technically focused across ultiple thematic issues (for example, economic or healthcare rights).
The most common thematic human rights progams are women’s rights, child’s rights, LGBTQIA+ rights, refugee rights, civil rights and environmental & climate rights.
The Humanitarian Impact Institute can provide human rights analysis and research (primary source or meta analysis), as well as conduct baseline and endline evaluations. We can also design effective monitoring frameworks for human rights programs.
