Humanitarian SRHR
Overview
The Humanitarian Impact Institute works with implementers to assess the impact of humanitarian SRHR (sexual and reproductive health rights) programs. SRHR are basic human rights and our work to support access to SRHR and the safe provision of SRH healthcare is grounded in international law.
Our work covers family planning, maternal healthcare, sexual health services including STIs, abortion services, promotion of sexual healthcare rights, mental healthcare, gender choices and support to survivors of sexual violence.
Our work includes analysis of cultural and religious barriers, behavioural change approaches, economic barriers, stigma and discrimination and dignity.
The Humanitarian Impact Institute helps assess programmatic accessibility, gender and disability adaptations and that they are driven by community need while being CHS aligned.
