Policy Analysis
Policy Analysis
Overview
The Humanitarian Impact Institute can support in the analysis of diplomatic, climate, humanitarian, development and economic policy impacts and forecasting for donors, UN agencies, change agents and international organisations.
Power analysis models, diplomatic network analysis (DNA) and logical framework analysis can be supplemented with different analytical frameworks such as economic modelling and COM-B frameworks where the context requires it.
HII can also conduct primary and secondary source research to provide new insights and evidence-based foundations for policy development, while also conducting analysis of assumptions and evidence strength.
HII can also reconstruct a Theory of Change if necessary, as well as review and adapt theories of changes where new evidence supports this. Our goal is impactful programming, and recalibrating ToCs can help drive this increased impact as well as serve as a vehicle for learning for implementers.
